Superdome:
For decades, the Superdome has served New Orleans very well, playing host to many of the seminal events in the city’s recent history. It’s where a little-known North Carolina freshman named Michael Jordan sank Georgetown with a last minute jumper, where the Rolling Stones played to the largest indoor crowd in concert history, where Roberto Duran said “No mas” to Sugar Ray Leonard. But in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, with images of its wind-torn roof being broadcast worldwide, the facility came to symbolize the heavily damaged state of the city. These images left serious doubt in the minds of people around the world as to whether New Orleans could recover.
Trumpet worked to tell the story the unprecedented rebuilding effort of this amazing facility — a rebirth that awakened the entire city to the truth that we could come back stronger and better; that we may have taken a solid hit, but like the Superdome, we are Undefeated.
